A Place Called Home
Stories

"A Place Called Home" is a monthly profile of children waiting to be adopted by loving families. The segments, produced and written by FOX40's Donna Cordova, air the first Monday of every month on FOX40 News at 10PM.

The efforts of FOX40 and Sierra Adoption Services continues to be successful in placing children with loving families. Within the last nine years, more than 107 children have been placed into permanent homes.

In 1999 FOX40 received a "Presidential Adoption Excellence Award" from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for the station's efforts at promoting adoption.

The agency is built on the firm belief that no child is "un-adoptable."
