Did you download an iPhone or iPad app any time between December 1st, 2008 and last week? Yes? I've downloaded all of mine during that time. Then you and I may be included in the class-action lawsuit against Apple. The company is being sued for allowing the transmission of user information through certain applications.

According to the suit: “Some apps are also selling additional information to ad networks, including users’ location, age, gender, income, ethnicity, sexual orientation and political views.” Pandora, Paper Toss, the Weather Channel and Dictionary.com are being named as some of the defendants, along with Apple.

The case is Lalo v. Apple, 10-5878, U.S. District Court, Northern District of California.
