20 year old, Amit Nisan has been released, after being arrested earlier today.
Police raided a pot house in East Sacramento...A neighborhood known for it's quiet streets and pretty trees....not marijuana plants.
Investigators have been scoping out this house for quite some time. Today, they sent their helicopter over the home, noticed suspicious plants and went in for the bust.
Sgt. Brian Ellis says, Nisan was using the grow for medical use. He showed Officers his prescriptions and cards. Investigators say he may have been growing more than the six mature plants allowed per patient. Drug charges are still pending further investigation. He was arrested for possession of a dangerous weapon. They found brass knuckles in his home.
He's also being cited for living in a dangerous building. While investigating, police found un-safe electrical equipment. They will now be boarding up the house.
Neighbors say they are not surprised at all. They say they knew something suspicious was going on. They say they are glad this drug house is shut down.
