Australian Man Convicted Of Downloading "Simpsons" Pornography
ISPWICH, Australia - Downloading pornographic images depicting cartoon characters engaged in various sexual acts has landed an Australian man on a sex offender registry.

According to the Ispwich Queensland Times, 28-year-old Kurt Milner pled guilty to possession of child pornography after police discovered several images of cartoon characters engaged in sexual acts on the man's computer.

Milner admitted to downloading pornographic material depicting characters from The Simpsons, The Powerpuff Girls and The Incredibles engaged in various sexual acts. Milner will now have to register as a sex offender in an Australian law enforcement database.

Milner, described as a former security guard who once was accused of downloading photographs depicting actual children in sexual acts, told the court he downloaded the images because he "thought they were funny," according to the newspaper.

In Australia, illustrations of cartoon characters showing minors engaged in sexual acts are considered child pornography under the law.
