People are outraged that three Navy Seals face courts martial for punching a suspected terrorist in Iraq.

"Seeing my own picture in the media is not standard protocol"...Navy Seal Matthew Mccabe is one of those on trial. He says it was protocol to capture Ahmed Hashim Abed.

The terrorist is linked in the murders of 4-American civilians working in Iraq in 2004, during that capture a Navy Seal allegedly punched him. Now those seals are on trial and Abed is considered...the victim.

"I think these Navy Seals feel pretty confident about there cases"... California Assemblyman Ted Lieu who used to prosecute military courts martial wants our state to lead the way in giving the military more protection.

He also says "I have a bill right now that would give military members the right to get attorney fee's when on deployment and to deal with a case that was brought against them".

That's welcomed news to Mike O'Docharty with the Navy League of Sacramento...a support group protecting military rights...."there are sometimes you have to make split decisions".

Still O'Docharty insist if there was wrong-doing...a member of the military should be held to the same penalties as if the assault happen in Sacramento.

But the Navy Seals on trial say their innocent - and their happy America believes them and supports them.
