Records show a Sacramento man had his license reinstated just days before three young adults were killed in a fiery hit-and-run accident.
Omar Carrasco, 25, had his license suspended five times over the past three years for various reasons, including two cases of DUI.
According to records, his most recent offense was on February 18th, when Carrasco failed to maintain insurance for his vehicle. His license was reinstated on March 4th.
Carrasco is accused of hitting an Acura sedan carrying four passengers. Gregory Valenzuela, Raoul Perez and Manuel Ruiz, all in their early twenties, were killed in the accident.
A fourth person is in the hospital with critical injuries.
