CALAVERAS COUNTY -
Devin Smith, a 37-year-old Calaveras County hunter missing since Monday, has been found alive.
The hunter, part of a three-man deer hunting team, disappeared from the wilderness of White Pines. Two others, 18-year-old Cody Decoste and 14-year-old Ryan Geto, were found after family members reported them missing when all three failed to return home shortly after dusk Tuesday morning.
Authorities with the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department say the hunter was found near Dorrington around 2:00pm Friday afternoon.
Smith seemed to be in good health when he appeared at a press conference later that evening. Smith said he was found just over a mile outside the designated search area.
