Human slavery is big business in California, now a new organization wants to shutdown the operation, but they need you.

California Against Slavery is trying to break the bond between pimps and the women they force to sell their bodies for sex.

The group is creating an army of people trying to change laws that help younger prostitutes go from jail time to rehab shelters that can give them a second chance.

Rosario Dowling with C.A.S. said, "We want to educate people to what is a prostitute. Who's being victimized really in this situation, and want to change the laws."

Rosario believes many times women who sell their bodies for sex, have been doing it since their teen years. The cycle is so strong some women never escape. She said, "There are some prostitutes who love living that lifestyle, in fact they'd like to legalize prostitution."

If you are interested in joining the fight against prostitution, California Against Slavery has a new member meeting Friday, September 3rd at the First Covenant Church in Rancho Cordova from 6-9pm.
