Firefighters say it will be several days before a barn ignited by a nearby hay fire is extinguished.Firefighters from Farmington, Oakdale and several other agencies responded to the scene of a massive hay fire early Wednesday morning in Escalon. More than 1,000 tons of hay erupted in flames
The fire destroyed a nearby barn. No animals could be spotted inside the barn.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire. There have been no reports of injuries.
