Several City of Sacramento websites were taken down Sunday after an apparent hacking attack.
The three sites, the main City of Sacramento website, the parks and recreation department website and the convention center website, are still down as of Monday afternoon.
City spokesperson Amy Williams said the process of getting the websites back up may take a while.
“This is a time consuming process and could take several days,” said Williams, in a written statement.
Williams added that no data was taken during the hack.
In the meantime, a temporary version of the main City of Sacramento website is up.
“We have a temporary website up so that customers can continue to make online payments and access Council Agendas and staff reports,” said Williams.
That website can be accessed at www.cityofsacramento.org.
