Kindervision

KinderVision is a non profit community service organization whose primary purpose is to teach children, teens and young adults personal safety education via a unique, pro-active multimedia program aimed at preventing abduction and sexual exploitation. Prevention through education has been the focus of KinderVision since 1991 and is accomplished using several methods including the KinderVision Safety Education DVDs (K.I.N.D.I., Little Red Said and Big League Interview), on-site KV Kids and TGS Events, comprehensive on-line elements such as "The Greatest Save" Safety Quiz, on-air safety messages, and classroom materials, all designed to be resources for families, law enforcement, schools and youth serving organizations. KinderVision is available in English and Spanish, is supported nationwide by law enforcement, and is funded solely through individual and corporate contributions

KV Classroom Materials are five units (Pre-K, K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and High School/College) of teacher friendly, student-centered lessons on personal safety education. Each unit is complete with lesson plans, visual aids, group activities and assessment tools and is available free via download to families, law enforcement, and all youth serving organizations including public, private and parochial schools.
