We’re looking for a news photojournalist with shooting and writing abilities to join FOX40. We want an enthusiastic professional who can shoot video of several events a day or shoot and tell a story on their own, sometimes working alone or with a reporter, edit video elements and operate an ENG microwave or satellite news truck for live shots. You must be able to do more than just shoot video, we want someone who can pitch stories at editorial meetings, and then shoot, write and edit a complete story on their own ¿ highlighting natural sound and great shots.

2 years working as a television news photographer and experience operating a live microwave truck is required. We need someone with non-linear editing skills and knows Final Cut Pro, who works well under pressure, and has solid news judgment. An Associate¿s degree in Television production or photography is desired.

MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST, PER DIEM (ID#20365)

Live nearby or moving here in the future? We're looking for a freelance reporter to work anywhere from 2-5 days a week. Schedules and hours will vary. You should be familiar with social media, plugged into local sources, and already good at shooting and editing or at-least eager to learn. MMJ's shoot and edit every day, but on many stories that are all in place and relatively quick, one person can do the job more efficiently, so we require everyone to embrace the photography and video skills needed in a TV job.

FOX40 has an opening for a Chief Engineer, to plan and complete projects and maintenance while ensuring compliance with all FCC, FAA and Tribune guidelines.
